Museum

All areas and activities at the Museum are accessible to visitors with reduced mobility.
It is advisable to be accompanied by another person when on the terrace.

Access

Main entrance at ground level from the car park via a tarmac path (approx. 300 m).
Drop-off point for four cars or one bus, 50 m from the entrance.

Facilities

  • A dedicated ‘reception and shop’ counter area
  • Fully equipped toilets on every floor
  • Lifts providing access to all areas, including the outdoor reconstructions
  • Seating in the reception hall
  • Wheelchairs and folding chairs available at reception

Tours

  • Multimedia and audiovisual aids are available throughout the exhibition route and are positioned at a suitable height
  • Seats reserved for wheelchair users in the screening areas and the auditorium
  • Models, exhibits and hands-on objects are clearly visible and accessible
  • Seating areas provided at regular intervals throughout the exhibition for visitors to take a break.

Activities

All activities are accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Restaurant / Shop

The restaurant and shop are accessible to people with reduced mobility. In the shop, you can ask the staff on duty for help reaching items on higher shelves.

Gallo-Roman ruins

The site and activities at the Gallo-Roman ruins are partially accessible to people with reduced mobility. It is advisable to bring a companion.

The guides adapt the tour routes to accommodate people with reduced mobility.

Access

Ground-level car park.

Facilities

  • Reception pavilion with accessible toilets
  • A tablet with a 3D app is available to help visitors understand the site
  • The app can also be used in non-geolocation mode to explore areas of interest that are difficult to access

Tour

  • Moderate to steep slopes, loose ground (grass, gravel). Tour distance (200 m to 1,100 m)
  • Access to the viewing point and the courtyard of the Ucuetis monument via a flight of steps
  • A few places to sit along the route
  • Information panels at a suitable height

Activities

Partial access to activities (guided tours, children’s workshops, etc.).
