School / Teachers
Learning also involves handling, observing, experiencing and interacting — and, above all, marvelling. Through its permanent and temporary exhibitions, its collection, its archaeological finds and its educational initiatives, the MuséoParc Alésia invites pupils of all ages to explore the past in order to better understand the present.
2026/2027 programme
The educational programme has been designed to support you, the teachers, in preparing for your visit, but also to extend the experience in the classroom, either before or after your visit to the site. It offers historical context, interpretative guides and suggested activities tailored to different school years, in line with the National Curriculum.
You can explore the various activities by school stage on this page or download the full programme to see the full range of resources available for school groups. We also offer Artistic and Cultural Education Programmes (PEAC) and a range of travelling exhibitions that can be set up at your school.
Discover Alésia in a different way, with activities for all ages and all abilities.
“Trésor de Laignes” exhibition
Comprising 2,130 silver coins, the Laignes hoard sheds light on the monetary practices, trade networks and art of the Gallic peoples in the final decades leading up to the Roman conquest. This is a rare opportunity to immerse yourself and your pupils in the heart of Gallic civilisation through one of the most significant numismatic collections ever studied for the Central-Eastern region of Gaul.
